Zombie Driver THD is coming to Tegra 3 Android devices on October 17, 2012. The game has been in the works for quite some time now over at Exor Studios, and all of that effort is about to bear fruit. You'll also be able to purchase and play the title on Steam and Xbox Live Arcade, but zombie action on the go requires your Android device.
With a retail price of $6.99, Zombie Driver THD features some fairly impressive visuals by any platform's standards, and you better believe it'll benefit from the Tegra 3. Just check out the trailer above and get a look at all those moving undead bodies and bullets and flames. That stuff takes real processing power.
Zombie Driver THD boasts a variety of features, including 31 diverse story missions (with boss fights and special vehicles), a racing mode with another 30 events, and Endurance and Elimination modes. You'll have 13 different vehicles at your disposal (including a school bus and a bulldozer, as well as a tank), plus there are a variety of available upgrades and even a combo system. Support for Nvidia's PhysX SDK will keep everything looking disgustingly beautiful.
Right now, we can't be sure that the title will arrive on Android platforms that don't support Tegra 3, so hopefully you already have the equipment required to properly enjoy it on hand. If you don't, perhaps it's time to take the plunge. Your future self would surely thank you, if he or she isn't preoccupied with the zombie invasion.
