Powered by Google Maps, Google’s Zeitgeist kicks off 2013 with a global map that displays New Year’s Resolutions being made all around the world. And thanks to Google Translate, you can enjoy reading resolutions even if you don’t speak the language they were originally submitted in.

Google also allows visitors to add their very own 2013 resolutions to the map, which show up on the Zeitgeist map depending on where you are geographically located. Resolutions are broken into different categories including love, health, career, finance, family, education and “do good.”

Google has also released a video alongside Zeitgeist that celebrates some of 2012’s most memorable events including everything from Felix Baumgartner’s death-defying skydive from space to Psy's hit single Gangnam Style. That video has been embedded in high-definition above for your convenience.
