As more and more gaming consoles release, many households have the problem of keeping their entertainment centers tidy.

People who play retro consoles like the NES, SNES and Genesis have it worse—most TV connections don't support those consoles, especially the latest HD sets.

But Hyperkin has a solution for you, priced at a cool $99 for this upcoming holiday.

As officially announced by the company this week, their much-anticipated RetroN 5 system will be available for purchase on December 10th, merging the following systems into one sleek emulator-powered box:

  • Nintendo Entertainment System
  • Famicom
  • Super NES
  • Super Famicom
  • Sega Master System
  • Sega Genesis
  • Sega Mega Drive
  • Game Boy
  • Game Boy Color
  • Game Boy Advance

That's quite the sizeable list, with the Android-powered RetroN 5 able to play all those cartridges types on any HD TV set.

Even better, the development team made sure to include classic/USB controller support, the ability to save game states, and various display settings (including ratio tweaks and filtering adjustments).

If there's any changes down the road, you can keep up with Hyperkin on their Twitter and Facebook feeds.
